Paul George played at Chatsworth HS from 1998-2002 where he won 2 City Championships in 2001 & 2002 and was a 2 time Player of the Year as an Opposite. After playing at Chatsworth under head coach Greg Saltzberg he moved on to play at the University of California Los Angeles under legendary head coach Al Scates. He then won a National

Class of 2006 - Cody Loe - CSUN
Cody Loe played at Chatsworth from 2003-2006 and was a 2 time City Champion in 2004 & 2005. After being selected as an All-City player at Chatsworth under head coach Greg Saltzberg, he then moved onto play at California State University of Northridge under head coach Jeff Campbell. He was selected as an All-American in 2007 at Middle Blocker & still remains one of the top middles to ever to have played at Chatsworth HS.
Class of 2007 - Rodante Saballa - Pierce College
Rodante Saballa played at Chatsworth HS from 2004-2007 under head coach Greg Saltzberg as an Outside Hitter. He was selected as an All-City player 2 years from 2006 & 2007 before he moved on to play at Pierce College under head coach Eddie Stanislawski. While at Pierce he played Libero garnering All-Conference awards as one of the top liberos in the State. He now works as a Physical Therapist at Body Dynamix and still regularly plays & does lines at the NCAA level. You may catch him on ESPN once or twice doing lines for the National Championship matches... he is good at what he does!
Class of 2008 - Charles Ahn - PIERCE COLLEGE
Charles Ahn played at Chatsworth from 2005-2008 under head coach Greg Saltzberg and later Jonathan Sheriff as a setter. He was selected as an All-City setter during the 2008 Season where Chatsworth was a #1 Seed. He then moved onto play Setter at Pierce College under head coach Eddi Stanislawski. Charles goes down as one of the best setters in Chatsworth HS history as the team in 2008 was one of the best teams of all time.
Class of 2008 - Andy Oauno - Quincy UNiversity
Andy Oauno played at Chatsworth from 2005-2008 and won a City Championship in 2005 as a freshman. He primarily played as a Setter/Opposite but saw the most success at Opposite during high school. He then moved onto Pierce College to play Setter under head coach Eddie Stanislawski before transferring to Quincy University to finish his playing career. His Senior year he started all 36 matches and finished with a team high 1272 Assists on the year! He goes down as one of the most versatile setter/opposites in Chatsworth history and is always seen stopping by Chatsworth practices & alumni games!!
CLASS OF 2010 - Daniel Rochin - PIERCE COLLEGE
Daniel Rochin played at Chatsworth from 2007-2010 as a Libero under head coach Jonathan Sheriff and Marvin Hall. He was selected as an All-City libero in 2010 almost upsetting eventual champion Taft HS in 5 games in the Quarterfinals. Taft coach Arman Mercado called Daniel the best Libero he has ever had to face as his knowledge for the game, leardership & agressiveness taking half the court in Serve Receive was impressive. He then moved onto Pierce College to play Libero under head coach Eddie Stanislawski.
CLASS OF 2014 - GarretT Degrasse - Pierce College
Garrett DeGrasse played at Chatsworth HS from 2012-2014, playing at Verdugo Hills HS before that. He was an 2-time All-City Outside Hitter and one of the most dominant attackers in 2014. That year, his team lost to eventual champion Carson HS in the Semifinals before he moved on to continue his playing career at Pierce College under head coach Lance Walker. He was selected as an All-Conference player as one of the top Outsides in the State & one of the best outsides in Chatsworth history!
Class of 2014 - CRIS PESSIN - PIERCE COLLEGE / SF State
Cris Pessin played at Chatsworth HS from 2011-2014 as an Outside Hitter. He was also selected as an All-City player during his 2014 season under head coach Jonathan Sheriff. He then moved onto play Outside Hitter at Pierce College under head coach Lance Walker. After Pierce, he moved onto play at San Francisco State as he was selected as the league POY in 2018. His younger brother Greg also played from 2013-2017.
CLASS OF 2014 - Peter Johnson - Moorpark College
Peter Johnson was a Libero at Chatsworth HS from 2011 to 2014 under head coach Russell Combs & Jonathan Sheriff. He was an All-City Selection during his 2014 season before moving on to play at Moorpark College under head coach Aaron Hedland.
Class of 2016 - JAYSON MOORE - PIERCE COLLEGE
Jayson Moore played from 2015-2016 during his time at Chatsworth HS. In 2016 his team won the City Championship while he garnered All City Player of the Year as an Opposite under head coach Sina Aghassy who calls him the best opposite since Paul George. He then moved onto play at Pierce College under Lance Walker winning a State Title in 2018!
CLASS OF 2016 - Grant Degrasse - Pierce College
Grant DeGrasse played at Chatsworth HS from 2012-2016 playing a multitude of positions from Setter to Opposite to Outside Hitter. He was one of the only players to ever be an All-City Selection in 2 positions. In 2015 he garnered All-City as a Setter then was selected as Player of the Year in 2016 after winning the City Championship under Head Coach Sina Aghassy. He then moved onto play at Pierce College as a Libero in 2017/2018 winning the State Championship in 2018 under head coach Lance Walker. He also garnered All-Confernce honors. He will go down as one of the most versatile players in Chatsworth History & one of the best leaders according to head coach Sina Aghassy.
Class of 2008 - Reanna Hill - Cal State Los angeles
Reanna Hill played at Chatsworth from 2004-2008 as she was a First Team All City Selection under head coach Jonathan Sheriff. She went on to play at Pierce College before transferring out to play for Cal State Los Angeles at the Division 1 Level.
Class of 2011 - Cienna Stinson - CSUN
Cienna Stinson played at Chatsworth from 2007-2009 as a Middle Blocker and Outside Hitter under head coach Jonathan Sheriff. She transferred to Taft HS in 2009 winning a City Championship there before moving on to play at CSUN as a Middle Blocker under head coach Jeff Stork.
Class of 2012 - Kelsey Horst - Pierce COllege
Kelsey Horst played at Chatsworth HS from 2009-2012 as an Outside Hitter under head Coach Jonathan Sheriff. She was an all-city selection during her 2012 season. She then moved onto play at Pierce College as a DS under head coach Nabil Mardini.
CLASS OF 2014 - Danielle Mamath - PIERCE COLLEGE
Danielle Mamath played at Chatsworth HS from 2011-2014 as an Outside Hitter under head coach Jonathan Sheriff and Julianna Hicks. She was an all-city player in 2014 as she moved onto play at Pierce College in 2015 under head coach Nabil Mardini as a defensive specialist and an outside hitter.
class of 2017 - Mahalia White - UC DAVIS
Mahalia White played at Chatsworth from 2013-2017 before moving onto UC Davis for a Full Scholarship under head coach Dan Conners! She was named First Team All City in both 2015 & 2016 before winning a City Championship at Chatsworth in 2015 under head coach Sina Aghassy. She was also name WVL Player of the Year in 2016 along with being recruited by UC Riverside, CSUN, Butler, Villanova & UC Davis while playing at Supernova under Coach Sina as well. She was selected as NCAA Big West Conference Freshman of the Year during the 2018 Season. This marks the first time a Girls Volleyball player has ever won this award at the Division 1 Level.
CLASS OF 2022 - Imani Taylor - Western New mexico
Imani Taylor played at Chatsworth from 2018-2022 before moving onto Western New Mexico on a full scholarship at the Division 2 level. She was named First Team All City in both 2019 and 2021, while winning a Division 1 City Championship in 2019 under Head Coach Sina Aghassy. She played club volleyball at SoCal Legends for 3 years during her sophomore-senior seasons while playing 16's for Sina Aghassy, 17's with Alex Sanchez and 18's for CJ Suarez. During her recruiting process she was being recruited by UC Riverside, Moorpark, Pasadena College, Beloit and Western New Mexico University. She was also selected as an AVCA Player to Watch during her senior year in 2021 and we look forward to watching her excel at the collegiate level!
